The scheme is intended exclusively for the development of women co-operatives. It includes assistance to women co-operatives and Assistance to Kerala State Co-operative Women Federation for implementing specific projects generating employment opportunities. It also includes:

a) Support to Self Help Groups in partnership with Kudumbasree
b) Assistance for the Revitalisation of the weak Vanitha Co-operatives
c) Assistance for the modernization /computerization of Vanitha Societies / Vanitha Federation for the efficient functioning of the Vanitha Co- operatives
d) Assistance to Vanitha Cooperatives for establishing and running Small Scale Industrial Units (SSI).
